Why I keep a restaurant list and how I rate places.
This isn't a food blog – it's a personal reference. I started keeping track of restaurants because I was tired of forgetting great places I'd been to. Now it's become a resource I share with friends, family, and anyone looking for a good meal.
My Rating System
I keep it simple with just two levels of recommendation:
- Must Try – Exceptional places I'd go out of my way to visit again. These are the spots I recommend when someone asks "where should I eat?"
- Recommended – Good, solid choices that I enjoyed and would happily return to.
If a place isn't on this list, it doesn't mean it's bad – it just means it didn't make enough of an impression for me to recommend it to others.
